SARATOGA RA EVENTS
Information can be found here: http://www.saratogarowing.com/ergatta.html
We have some great prizes for every age group, Team prizes, and Scholarships for winning Seniors. The best part of this is that teams can do the testing at their own convenience, in their own boathouses, on any date between now and the 7th.
2009 Fall Regatta dates:
Head of the Fish will be held on the weekend of October 24th-25th
Tail of the Fish will be held on September 6th (Saturday).
We are introducing another regatta this Fall (called the Schuylerskiff more than likely). It will be a race for singles only. We are looking at holding it on Columbus Day, October 12th. It will be held on the Hudson River (hopefully).
We are hoping to create a race in the mold of the Silverskif Regatta held in
Italy.- Information here: http://www.silverskiff.org/Inglese/bando_eng.php
Our version will have some amazing prizes: the coolest of which will be a plane ticket and entry fee to compete in the Silverskiff. In addition, for events that reach a certain number, we hope to increase the number of plane tickets handed out.
Stay tuned as we iron out the details on this regatta. Send along any questions (or ideas) you might have to chaserow@nycap.rr.com.
